I quite like this shot. I love the contrast between the very distinct colors and edges in the foreground and the lovely subtlety of the gradations of white and blue in the background. The hills/mountains in particular are quite beautiful here.
Please try not to see this comment as sacrilegious, but it seems to me that this shot would make a wonderful jigsaw puzzle. Most of the foreground would be relatively easy, but that background would be a bear. Very satisfying puzzle, I should think…
While I ultimately prefer the b/w lone tree in this series, I do love the gentle sloping interplay of branches and clouds, of fence and horizon – and the colors ring so true I can almost smell the fresh breeze here.
