Skagit Tulip Festival, Mount Vernon, Washington, USA
Canon S400 | 1/250 sec | F/7.1
wow. i feel like i’m inside the flower. great close up !!!
Great shot of the tulip. I have yet to go to the tulip fields. I need to go.
This is flabbergasting. You used the macro mode on you S400? That little camera is surprisingly good. This is a wonderful and in my opinion, unique and creative, take on a flower shot. Brilliant.
~I/eye dig the light from behind, the translucent nature of the petals, the softness of the colors within~
Really nice, and a great unique take on something that’s been photographed a lot. I was there the first weekend in April…under gray skies. 🙁
that is absolutely georgeous. great colours and detail.
Wow! So beautiful!!
I feel like being a small insect.
Contrast of pink and blue is splendid.
Impressive, that’s what I call a closeup. Nice job…
great shot!love blue bg, gives nice contrast!
Im very impressed. Few people have lenses strong enough to pick up the pollen and other assorted minute details. Im also impressed with the idea of removing one of the petals to catch a cross-sectional view.
wonderful find. this is something i’ll have to look out for now. thanks for opening up my eye to it.
