Three Fingers South Peak, WA, USA
Minolta Dimage A2 | ISO 64 | 1/400 sec | F/8
One of my favourite mountains… See also my panorama of Three Fingers.
Anne this is such a great BW, I love the tones and the composition, beautiful.
~striking tonal range here, and Ie/eye really like this presented as a tall vertical, would make a fine framed print IMO~
While the color panorama gives a larger sense of the true scope of this scene, the presentation here is just stunningly crisp – thrilling to imagine having been there to capture this scene!
I love the ice texture in this shot. It has something surreal…
you’ve got good eyes for perspective view…
Wow. This shot makes me wonder how hard it was to get to the place you took it.
usually I don’t like using bn for landscape pics (not absolutely but In the most of my cases) but this time is great. you do a great composition and the result is very nice to see. bye
great b&w, very nice
wonderful B&W shot, and well done not just for the shot but also to get such a hight point
Mr. Adams wold be proud of you!
Great image..i like the high contrast of this image..the whites are very good with a lot of fine details…
Great shot — nice shadows. I’m pleasantly surprised by how nice a B&W that is! (Not used to it for this kind of shot.)
Classic mountain shot, beautifully done in b&w. B&w always gives a shot uniqueness and a sense of age, I like that…
i also thought of an ansel adams shot! outstanding tones!
Awesome shot! Beutiful black and white tones, very sharp, excellent contrast and framing.
