I’m back and will be posting pictures from my trip over the next few days…
hah! That must be the ‘most’ abandoned couch I’ve ever seen! Great composition with that peak.
whoa! what was that couch doing in the middle of nowhere. nice pic… loved it!
wow… great score!
Wonderful contrast betwen “trash” and the beautiful scenery. And the couch patterns even match the colors of the landscape, score!
Great concept. Wish there were clouds for some reason though. Maybe go back? Hehe. By the way, how did you get 64 iso on your XT? Mine only goes down to 100. 🙁
Oops — I meant to type ISO 100. Corrected now…
Marvelous shot. The red of the soil and the blue of the sky are great complements to the colors in the couch.
great shot! how typical of the area (i grew up there).
This is so good. Everything all centred works beautifully.
Wow, that couch must be fresh! Hardly any sun-fading at all!
I think it is great how you’ve centered this shot w.r.t. the background. Looks good!

How delightfully bizarre and beautiful. Well composed.
oh thats really rare ! 🙂
the exposures great, the lighting on the couch is great and the symetrical composistion is striking. great shot
This is a fantastic find! Love it.
now that’s rare, what an amazing find!
Great job there! Awesome!
Fantastic photograph, Did you put the couch there?
Beautiful composition and colors, it seems a poster.

Hey, I think that’s my couch…haha. I grew up here…in Kayenta, just a few miles south of here. Agathla is also known as “El Cap”…or El Capitan. There’s many other formations like this around this area…very nice capture!!
Great find.. I assume you found it there… I hope didn’t just dump your rubbish in the desert 🙂
The first thing I thought when I saw that was, “man! That sure looks comfortable!” I love stuff like this!
