What a day at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics! I shot over 1800 frames in a single day — and it could have been a lot more if the weather had cooperated…
This is my best frame from the short track event I attended at the Pacific Coliseum. It’s from the Men’s 1500m short track semi-final. Jung-Su Lee from Korea won the gold medal. The image is pretty much straight out of the camera with minor exposure and white balance adjustments – it’s not even cropped!
We had some phenomenal seats for photography. Here’s a picture of us (circled in red) from the NBC live TV feed. The frame grab is from the final turn in the men’s 1500m final as two of the Korean skaters fell.
